Wilson Ramos Admits Kidnapping Hoax

Washington catcher Wilson Ramos came out of hiding over the weekend, admitting he faked his own kidnapping to see if anyone would care.

“I’ve never even been to Venezuela,” said Ramos, who recently finished fourth in the National League Rookie of the Year voting. “I spent most of the past week in the trunk of (teammate Jayson) Werth’s Ford Fusion.”

The elaborate hoax finally brought some attention to the Washington Nationals, a team that drew an average of just 24,877 fans a game in 2011.

“It’s nice to see our team finally get some media coverage for a change,” Nats third basemen Ryan Zimmerman told OMGG.com. “Last season we replaced Stephen Strasburg with a 12-year old Asian boy, and no one even noticed.”

Oscar De La Hoya to Wear Bra for Next Fight

On December 17th, Oscar De La Hoya will return to the ring to fight Floyd Mayweather, Jr. — in lingerie.

The cross-dressing boxing legend told OMGG.com that he’d prefer to stay retired, and could care less about winning back the World Welterweight Title.

So why fight?

“To be honest, I need the money,” said the Golden Boy. “That new Victoria’s Secret Incredible Collection ain’t cheap.”

Perhaps Joe Paterno was more involved in the Penn State scandal than originally believed.

Moments ago, a source called OMGG.com’s criminal investigations team claiming Paterno was fired for supplying Jerry Sandusky with an endless supply of boys in exchange for complicated defensive schemes.

“Paterno knew the importance of a strong defense,” said the source. “Sadly, there was only one way to keep Jerry motivated.”

Joe Paterno Too Old to Understand He's Been Fired

Penn State head coach Joe Paterno was ousted amid a sex scandal that rocked the university and the nation.

Unfortunately, he showed up for practice this morning and had to be escorted off the field.

“I don’t understand why they won’t let me do my job,” said Paterno. “I’m going to write an angry letter to someone, that’s for sure.”

OMGG.com caught up with the 84-year old this afternoon at his home in State College, Pennsylvania hoping for an interview, but he just shook his fist at us and insisted we get off his lawn.

Pete Rose Gambles Away Gold Teeth

Baseball’s all-time hit leader is at the center of a new lawsuit.

Pete Rose, already banned from baseball for gambling on games, may now be barred from the dentist’s chair after refusing to pay a bill he incurred for having gold crowns placed over damaged teeth in 2010.

Rose, still a compulsive gambler, claims he’d pay the $3000 dental tab if he had the money.

“I wish I could just return the damn gold teeth,” Rose told OMGG.com. “Unfortunately, I lost them in a game of blackjack last month.”
