2011 ESPN Body Issue: Rafael Nadal

Yesterday, we released a previously unseen nude photo of Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia from the third annual ESPN the Magazine Body Issue, which hit newsstands Wednesday.

Within minutes, we were bombarded with emails from athletes letting us know that they, too, were left out of this year’s controversial periodical.

Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal was among those who felt slighted.

“Apparently ESPN has something against Spaniards,” Nadal wrote in a scathing email to OMGG.com. “Please publish my photo and show the world how flawless my physique is.”

Will WikiLeaks Ruin Christmas?

The winner of this year’s coveted Nobel Peace Prize was announced in Norway this morning, with frontrunner Julian Assange losing to a trio of African women activists.

Assange’s website WikiLeaks had made global contributions to peace by exposing corruption, war crimes and torture — but word is they upset the voting panel by ruining Christmas for children worldwide.

On December 23, 2010, Assange published documents from a North Pole whistle-blower proving that Santa Claus doesn’t exist.

“He made my grandson cry, which is the opposite of what this award stands for,” said Thorbjorn Jagland, a former Norwegian prime minister who heads the Oslo-based Nobel committee that chooses the winner of the $1.5 million prize. “Payback’s a bitch, Assange!”

MC Hammer Named CFO at Bank of America

Rapper and financial guru MC Hammer has been brought in to “right the ship” at Bank of America, interim CEO Zeb Doyle announced this morning on CNBC’s Mad Money. The struggling financial institution is hoping the move will help restore stockholder confidence.

Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) is down more than 50% on the year, and OMGG.com financial analysts agree that something needed to be done.

“Hammer lived way above his means, eventually squandering his fortune and filing for bankruptcy,” Mr. Doyle told Jim Cramer. “That’s something Bank of America customers can really relate to.”

The move is risky in light of yesterday’s announcement of a new $5 monthly fee on all BofA debit cards, but the Mad Money host applauded the hiring of Hammer.

“Pardon the pun, but when it comes to hemorrhaging money,” said Cramer. “U Can’t Touch This partnership.”

2011 ESPN Body Issue: The Unseen Photo

The third annual ESPN the Magazine Body Issue hit newsstands yesterday.

A naked Hope Solo is among the 22 sports stars included in the publication, which features both male and female athletes with seemingly unattainable bodies.

A representative for CC Sabathia contacted OMGG.com this morning to let us know that the New York Yankees pitcher actually posed for this year’s cover, but his photo was inexplicably left out.

“He’s devastated that ESPN chose to exclude him,” said Danny Lien, Sabathia’s agent. “He’s starting to wonder if all the time he spends working out in the offseason is just a waste of his time.”

God Begs Sarah Palin Not to Run for President

Sarah Palin announced yesterday that she will not be running for president in 2012 at the request of the Lord.

“I was about to ring Fox News to tell them I was in, when my gosh darn phone was struck by lightening,” explained the Drilla’ from Wasilla.

OMGG.com has learned that Sarah Palin isn’t the first politician The Almighty reached out to this week.

“I spoke to God on Monday morning,” GOP candidate Rick Perry told Fox News. “He said that on the off-chance I win the election, he plans to send a swarm of locusts to Washington, DC.”
