So far, 2012 has been kind to Woody Allen. Midnight in Paris is nominated for four Oscars, his one-act play Honeymoon Motel is doing big business on Broadway and at 76-years old, the director announced he has finally found true love.

New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin told OMGG.com that Allen approached him with flowers moments after his team beat the New Jersey Nets at Madison Square Garden on February 4.

“He said he wanted to adopt me, which I thought was odd,” Lin confessed. “He was really nervous and fidgety, so I agreed to meet for drinks to calm him down.”

The controversial couple says the relationship has since blossomed into something special.

“Believe me, I understand why some are opposed to me dating Woody,” Lin admitted. “But eventually I think people will be able to see past our age difference.”

OMGG.com has learned that Katy Perry’s recent Grammy performance included a not-so-subtle jab at Russell Brand.

Perry debuted the song Part of Me on music’s biggest night, which included the lyrics, “You spit me out, like I was poison in your mouth.”

“At first, I thought it was some sort of sperm metaphor,” admitted Brand, who split with the singer in December.

But after hearing the rest of the song, the Get Him to the Greek actor felt slighted by his ex.

“I was under the impression our separation was amicable,” said Brand. “If I had known she’d be this bitter, I would’ve taken half her money in the divorce.”

Nicki Minaj was the talk of the Grammys last night, and it had nothing to do with her nomination for Best New Artist.

Prior to the show, the rapper walked the red carpet in a red Versace cape with a much older man by her side — Pope Benedict XVI.

The 29-year old is known for her Lady Gaga-like publicity stunts, but Vatican City residents are wondering why the Bishop of Rome would agree to accompany someone so controversial to an award ceremony.

“I’m just a fan of her music,” His Holiness explained to OMGG.com. “But the Catholic Church no longer frowns upon interracial marriage, so who knows where this might lead?”
