Geraldo Rivera Now Claims Hoodie to Blame for MLK’s Assassination

Geraldo Rivera sparked outrage last week when he made controversial comments implying Trayvon Martin’s attire was responsible for the young Floridian’s shooting death.

OMGG.com caught up with the journalist outside his Brooklyn home, where he told us a new Fox News poll supports his claim.

“According to figures, hooded sweatshirts are to blame for 63% of violent crimes in North America,” said the 68-year old douchebag. “Forty-nine rapes have been tied to the dangerous garment in 2011 alone.”

Rivera would like to see hoodies banned in the US, much the way burqas were recently outlawed in France.

“We have lost too many great leaders thanks to this savage attire,” the mustached reporter told us. “I believe JFK and Martin Luther King, Jr. might be around today if it weren’t for their love of sweatshirts.”
