Bert and Ernie, the Sesame Street roommates who vehemently denied being gay last week, are said to be embarrassed after a sex tape of the pair surfaced this morning.
Ernie claims it was ripped from a laptop that he’d reported stolen six months ago, and is threatening to sue Vivid Entertainment for releasing the steamy 42-minute video.
“Bert and I made a movie, yes,” admitted the chubby orange puppet. “But it was meant for our eyes only.”
OMGG spoke with Bert and Ernie’s lawyer, Muppeteer Caroline Chalmers, who told us a cease and desist letter has been fired off to several websites, demanding they immediately take down all clips of the raunchy sex-fest.
Vivid head honcho Steve Hirsch told us he received a letter this morning and plans to forward it to his attorney.

Actor Brendan Frasier says that although he’s sad his career is on the decline, he’s excited that he won’t have to watch himself in any movies this year.
“I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is, but for some reason I find myself extremely irritating,” admitted the actor.
A recent OMGG poll reveals the public couldn’t agree more with the Mummy star. In fact, 91% of respondents indicated they find Brendan’s acting “bothersome.”
Film critic Wolfgang Delgado did his best to defend Frasier this morning when he tweeted: ‘Brendan might not be a gifted performer, but I know him very well and he’s certainly tall.’

Despite signing several Pro Bowlers, looking sharp in their first preseason game and being called “the team to beat” by both ESPN and Sports Illustrated analysts, the Philadelphia Eagles weren’t assured of a Super Bowl victory this season…until now.
In a move that’s put them $184 million over the salary cap, the Eagles signed the entire New England Patriots team to a four-year contract Sunday afternoon.
“We saw the Patriots as a potential obstacle,” explained QB Michael Vick, now a backup. “We couldn’t take any chances, not this year.”
The Super Bowl parade has been scheduled to march down Broad Street on February 17, 2012, and Eagles head coach Andy Reid says he’s already prepared an emotional victory speech.
“I’m sorry it took us so long to win the big game,” an apologetic Reid told reporters at training camp this morning. “Our team would’ve hoisted the Lombardi Trophy sooner, but we’ve been plagued by bad luck, injuries and Donovan McNabb.”
