Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes got together for cocktails on Wednesday to celebrate their independence…from Tom Cruise.

“We all went to see Magic Mike and wondered aloud why none of us ended up with Channing Tatum,” said Holmes. “Then we hit up Olive Garden for some apps and two-for-one happy hour drinks.”

The 33-year old actress has faced criticism for bringing her young daughter along, but defended her decision to OMGG.com.

“The media needs to stop questioning my parenting skills,” Holmes told us. “If it weren’t for me, Suri would be kept in a plastic crate at a Scientology Center in Wisconsin.”

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi came under fire last week for using her baby stroller as a beer cart.

“Y’all should leave her alone, my mom drank beer until the third trimester and I came out good,” said Jersey Shore housemate JWoww. “Her baby ain’t due until August, so by my calculations she’s got another two months to get drunk safely.”

Polizzi told OMGG.com that she’s actually quit boozing. In fact, the 30-pack in the stroller was just a symbolic gesture.

“My fiancee and I each drank a case of Coors Light the night the baby was conceived,” the 24-year old explained. “At this point neither of us would be surprised if I gave birth to a beer bottle!”

Weeks after giving birth, Jessica Simpson is bigger than ever.

“I think it’s safe to say that I’m expecting twins!” the excited 31-year old announced. “My husband says it’s impossible, but he’s basing that on the fact that we haven’t had sex in ages.”

The Weight Watchers spokeswoman says there are plenty of other ways to get pregnant, like an immaculate conception or doctors leaving a baby inside her during her daughter’s birth in May.

“I know my due date is approaching because of all the food cravings,” Simpson told OMGG.com. “I mean, I just ate a box of Oreos and all I can think about is downing a gallon of Häagen-Dazs!”
