Robert Pattinson Arrives at 2012 Met Gala in His Underwear

As expected, several Hollywood A-listers showed up to The Costume Institute’s annual Met Gala, the most exclusive fashion event in the world. Sadly, one celebrity didn’t care enough to wear pants.

Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson, known for a nonchalant attitude that drives teen girls (and confused young men) wild, walked the red carpet in his boxer briefs last night.

The douchey move, no doubt intended to prove he’s too cool to care, was surprisingly well-received by fashion icons around the world.

“Robert’s look will revolutionize men’s boxers,” said Gala co-chair Anna Wintour. “I’m told he even inspired Calvin Klein to create a line of reduced-crotch underwear for men lacking bulge.”
