Spice Girls Performance Ruins Olympic Closing Ceremony

Last night’s bizarre Olympic closing ceremony featured a fat guy in a Batman suit, some cars wrapped in newspaper and a flying saxophone player in a kilt.

Yet the evening’s most awkward moment belonged to the Spice Girls, who reunited after more than a decade to perform some of their greatest hits, including Wannabe, Spice Up Your Life and a bunch of other poppy garbage.

In hindsight, Victoria Beckham admits she wishes the group had time to rehearse before embarrassing themselves on the London stage.

“To be honest, it was hard watching Queen and John Lennon get standing ovations,” a distraught Posh Spice told OMGG.com. “Sadly, this isn’t the first time we’ve been out-performed by a couple of dead guys.”
