Val Kilmer Upset His Scenes Were Cut From ‘Magic Mike’

Val Kilmer is well aware of the fact that he’s put on some weight.

“Look, I might not have Channing Tatum’s body anymore,” the 52-year old told OMGG.com. “But I still think I look pretty good for my age.”

Kilmer, who was recently cast in Magic Mike to play the mentor to a strip club manager (played by Matthew McConaughey), was irate to learn his shirtless scenes had been cut in post-production.

“When he started removing clothing, it looked like he hadn’t eaten anything but carbs since Top Gun,” confessed director Steven Soderbergh. “The big joke on set was that he’d gone from ‘Iceman’ to ‘Riceman’ since the late-80s.”
