According to Vanity Fair, the Church of Scientology auditioned several candidates for the role of Tom Cruise’s girlfriend back in 2004.

The 50-year old actor allegedly settled on Nazanin Boniadi, an Iranian-born actress whom he eventually left for Katie Holmes a year later.

The Mission Impossible star is denying the story, but OMGG.com investigators have discovered a photo from the audition.

After seeing our pic, Demi Moore told us she regrets not attending the casting call.

“Had I landed that part I wouldn’t have wasted all those years with Ashton (Kutcher),” Moore said. “Unfortunately, my agent at the time didn’t realize women were eligible for the role.”
