Sarah Jessica Parker Happy to Hear HBO’s Luck Canceled

March 20, 2012

After three of her sisters were euthanized, Sarah Jessica Parker had seen enough.

The most powerful horse in showbusiness made a few calls and had the tv series Luck put out of its misery.

SJP, best known for her title role in the film Seabiscuit, was formerly the star of HBO’s Sex and the City, and apparently still has some powerful friends at the network.

“She called Luck a veritable Horsocaust,” said Bill Nelson, HBO’s Chairman and CEO. “When I picked up the phone and heard a series of loud neighs, I knew Sarah was really angry.”
