Kevin Bacon Leaves Wife, Marries Sister

Kevin Bacon was worried his fans would turn on him when the tv show Finding Your Roots revealed that he was cousins with his wife of 24 years, actress Kyra Sedgwick.

“Believe it or not, some backwards people in this country still believe it’s wrong to marry your family members,” said the 53-year old.

But when the revelation was largely ignored by the press, the Footloose star decided he’d prefer “one degree of Kevin Bacon.”

“I filed for divorce so I can pursue my one true love,” the actor told OMGG.com. “On Thursday, I’m moving to Tennessee to marry my twin sister, Kendra.”
